When you create an account, we collect your email address, username, and display name. We also store your Amazon affiliate tag if you provide one.
We may collect anonymous usage data via cookies in accordance with Google's privacy policy.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used solely to operate GearVault: authenticate you, display your builds, generate affiliate cart links, and provide analytics. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely in a PostgreSQL database. Passwords are hashed using PBKDF2-SHA512. Sessions expire after 30 days.
4. Third-Party Services
GearVault integrates with Amazon (for product data and cart links), Polar.sh (for subscription billing). Each service operates under its own privacy policy.
